Visit to Mary MACKillop
Visiting Mary MACKillop Centre, hmmm there’s going to be mass, a place for history to look at, a little room for questions and my favourite one, lunch.
We went because our school is celebrating its 60th jubilee. At the center we ate our lunch under a tree while the sisters were passing drinks to those who are thirsty.
We also saw Rangitoto the volcano, just across Mission Bay. It is a beautiful view from where I am standing. Rangitoto is standing erect and still like a statue. However, Rangitoto looks so solid as a rock and mighty and powerful like a volcano. It is calm, quiet, and also peaceful. The warm sun mix with cold wind, made the day so cool and inviting. We all enjoy the time eating our lunch.
And as soon lunch finished we had to go and head back to school.
